Commercial and Editorial Photographer

Nish Nalbandian in Mosul during the campaign to liberat it from ISIS

In Mosul with Iraqi Special Forces, December 2016.

My focus is editorial photography with an eye for the humanity in the subject. My work is suitable for a range of editorial, NGO, and commercial clients.

I have photographed in more than 35 countries worldwide. I'm capable of and experienced in working in any environment from the front line to the sideline, back alley to board room, studio to South America. I get along well with anyone and can work comfortably in any culture and any condition. My years of working and living abroad and shooting war have given me a scrappiness and cultural awareness that allows me to gain access and work anywhere.

My editorial work has appeared in such diverse outlets as the Human Rights Watch World ReportThe Los Angeles Times, NPR, The New Yorker, The Times of London, National Geographic Traveler, and Associated Press.

My archive is currently syndicated by Redux Pictures, and I contribute work to ReduxPolaris, Zuma, Associated Press, and Agence QMI.

My commercial clients have included Western Digital, Otterbox, Arai Helmets, Come Sit Stay Pet Resort, Good Biker, Fresh Agenda, and Luxlow Cycles. My fine art work is represented by Out of the Blue, and Borealis Press.
